Lee Wayne Longo, 61, 0f Bayonet Point, Fla., died Feb. 28, 2004, at his residence under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
Born in Memphis, Tenn., he moved to Florida in 1998 from Hardy where he was a retail manager with Century Cellunet. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Hudson, Fla., the West Coast Fly Fishers of New Port Richey, Fla., the Midsouth Fly Fishers of Memphis and the Federation of Fly Fishers.
Survivors include his wife, Irma Longo, of Bayonet Point; three sons -- Michael Calu of Phoenix, and Steven and Jeffery Longo, both of Little Rock; a daughter, Terry Jo Schuler of Seattle; his father, Joseph P. Longo of Memphis; two brothers -- John Longo and Robert Longo, both of Memphis; a sister, Frances George of Memphis; six grandchildren -- Misty Robinson, Kristopher Robinson, Alex Yeager, Zachery Calu, Shelby Longo, and Steven Longo Jr.
A memorial mass will be held March 20 at 2 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home.
A visitation for family and friends will be from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
