Marie Anna Miles, 67, of Hardy, formerly of Kirbyville, Texas, died Dec. 1, 2003, at her residence.
Born Jan. 4, 1936, in Sabine County, Texas, she was the daughter of Roy and Grace Busby Barthol. She married Charles Lynn Miles. She was a homemaker and a member of Light in the Wilderness Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Lynn Miles, of the home; a son, Clayton Creader of Kribyville; four daughters -- Hilda Cantone of Orange, Texas, Selina Burns of Kirbyville, Brenda Scarber of Bismarck, Ark., and Belinda Davidson of Cherokee Village; two brothers -- Kenneth Keen of Vidor, Texas, and Troy Walls Keen of San Augustine, Texas; three sisters -- Jolene Keen of San Augustine, Francis Whitehead of Buna, Texas, and Catherine Jetton of Port Nachee, Texas; 18 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers -- Elton Roy Barthol, Gilbert Oden Keen and Preston Wade Keen; and a sister, Patsy Gallier.
The funeral was Dec. 3 at Higginbotham Chapel in Hardy with Stan Jones officiating.
Burial followed in Hardy Cemetery.
