Mary Elizabeth Booth of Williford died Sept. 7, 2003, after a brief, fierce battle with cancer.
Born Sept. 1, 1929, in Williford, the daughter of Arthur and Mary Alice Hill Booth.
Mary faced life headon with a brave heart and a caring hand.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Jenkins of Little Rock; a son, Michael Carnahan of Walnut Ridge; two sisters, Lucille Tucker and Jamie Holiway of Jonesboro; a brother, A.D. Booth of Williford; two granddaughters, Rachel Primm of Little Rock and Jennifer Carnahan of Ward; three great grandchildren; two nieces; a nephew; and a grandniece and grandnephew.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Woodrow Booth; her husband, Everett Edward Carnahan; and a son, Timothy Edward Carnahan.
The funeral was Sept. 10 at Heath Funeral Home in Hardy with the Rev. Mid Wootten officiating.
Interment followed in Baker Cemetery, Ozark Acres
