Harry Good McKimm, 83, of Ash Flat died Jan. 27, 2002, at Eastern Ozarks Regional Health System in Cherokee Village.
Born Jan. 29, 1918, in Cairo, Ill., he was the son of Harry and Anita Good McKimm. He married Audrey Orr March 11, 1941. They moved to Ash Flat 20 years ago from Austin, Texas. He earned a bachelor's degree in occupational education and was retired from the U.S. Army after serving 24 years with the rank of CW3. He served in both World War II and the Korean War. After retiring from the military, he taught electronic at Austin Community College in Austin.
Survivors include his wife; a son, William H. McKimm of Mount Ida; and a grandson, Michael Clayton McKimm.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral was Jan. 29 at Ash Flat Church of Christ with Keith Gregson officiating. Burial followed in Wiles Cemetery in Ash Flat.
Pallbearers were Edward Orr, Bob Orr, Dan Orr Le Roy Orr, Phillip Orr and Mike Nix.
