Marvin Franklin Brown, 75, of Hardy, formerly of Bay Village, Ark., died Nov. 2, 2003, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born May 19, 1928, in Harrisburg, Ark., he was the son of Jasper and Artie Belle Harmon Brown. He was retired from the Singer Company.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Louise Hasting Brown of the home; a sister, Doris Holt of Cherry Valley; a brother, Donald Ray Brown of Helena; four sons -- Larry Wayne and Tommy Edward Brown, both of Harrisburg, Jason Walker of Jonesboro, and Marvin Lewis Brown of Hardy; a daughter, Carrie Davidson of Cherokee Village; a stepdaughter, Mesha Hadi of Valley View; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
A graveside service was Nov. 4 at Bay Village Cemetery with Stan Jones officiating. Burial followed in Bay Village Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Josh Leslie, Zachery Leslie, Reggie Brown, Eddie Sandefur and J.L. Clayton.
Arrangements were by Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home.
