Mark Wayne Gayman, 82, of Cherokee Village died Oct. 8, 2003, at Community Medical Center in Calico Rock.
Born Feb. 9, 1921, in Raeston, Okla., he was the son of Mark and Maude Gayman.
He served his country in the Army Air Force during World War II.
During his working years he was self-employed as a crop duster. He was a member of Village Mission Church of God in Ash Flat.
Survivors include his children -- Janet Wiles of Cherokee Village, Mark Gayman of Bassett, Ark., and Charlene Gayman of Pensacola, Fla.; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and special friend, Grace Guiltner of Salem
He was preceded in death by his wife, Zenobia Gayman; two grandchildren; and his father and mother.
A memorial service was Oct. 18 at Ash Flat Church of God with Bill Hattenhauer officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
