Marvine Bentley Gilbreath of Ash Flat, daughter of the late Daisy and Herbert Pierce, was born Dec. 1, 1948, in Mountain Home. She died Jan. 18, 2006, at her home in Ash Flat at the age of 57.
She was united in marriage to Virgil Gilbreath on June 5, 1970, at Salem. To this union three children were born. She was a member of the Agnos Church of Christ. She was a good wife and mother and enjoyed her grandchildren and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Virgil Gilbreath of the family home; two sons, Ricky Gilbreath and wife, Leola, of Ash Flat, and Mark Gilbreath of Paragould; one daughter, Lisa Herring and husband, Marcus, of Glencoe; grandchildren, Nathen and Latosha Gilbreath, Amanda Owens, Aaron Gilbreath, Jarmey Sallee, Warren, Ashley and Michael Herring; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn and Aidan Owens; sisters, Betty Jo, Imogene and Aldean; brothers, Eugene Dale, Troy Dean, James, Salvador Jr., and Eugene.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Truman, and her father and mother.
The funeral service was held Jan. 20 at the Agnos Church of Christ, with burial in Agnos Cemetery, with arrangements under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
