Margaret Josephine "Jo" Mullen, 65, of Cave City died Aug. 28, 2002, at her home.
Born Sept. 30, 1936, in Cave City, she was the daughter of Clay and Ila Brewer Taylor. She was an employee of White River Medical Center of Batesville for 19-1/2 years. She was previously employed at the International Shoe Factory of Batesville for 20 years. She was a member of Mount View Mission Baptist Church of Cave City for 51 years where she served as teacher 30 years, and as church clerk for five years.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, O.C. Mullen; a son, Mike Mullen of Cave City; two daughters -- Judy Walling and Penny Snyder, both of Cave City; two sons-in-law -- Mitchell Walling and Kenny Snyder; seven grandchildren -- Eddie Walling, Nathan Walling, Bobbi Lee Walling, Matthew Snyder, David Snyder, Joseph Snyder and Bethany Snyder, all of Cave City; two sisters -- Carrie Watson of Cave City, and Dorothy Taylor of Batesville; and four brothers -- Billy Jack Taylor of Yuma, Ariz., Tommy Taylor of Bryant, Charles L. Taylor and Johnnie P. Taylor, both of Batesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother; and a brother, Bobby Lee Taylor.
The funeral was Aug. 30 at Mount View Missionary Baptist Church of Cave City with George Wright and Howard Brewer officiating. Burial followed at Mount View Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Eddie Walling, Adam Watson, Nathan Walling, Matthew Snyder, David Snyder, Kayla Watson, Bobbi Lee Walling, Joseph Snyder and Bethany Snyder.
Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
