Nadine Clark, 81, of Trumann, died March 26, 2002.
Born Feb. 10, 1921, in Poinsett County, she was of the Baptist faith. She had lived in the Trumann area most of her life. She retired from Singer in 1967.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Clark of Hardy; a daughter, Shirley Slinkard of Trumann; a brother, Luther Stephens of Mount Morris, Mich.; three sisters -- Willis Ruth Clark of Westland, Mich., Lela Thomas of Jonesboro, and Deloris Garner of Jonesboro; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Clark; a grandson, Shannon Slinkard; and five sisters.
The funeral was March 29 at Roller-Farmer Union Chapel in Jonesboro with the Rev. Tommy Stacy officiating. Burial followed in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Phil Wilcockson, Gary Smith, Ronnie Clement, Michael Smith, Larry Maxwell and Damon Slinkard.
Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
