Nelson B. Rader, 79, of Smithville died Feb. 22, 2003, at the Veteran Hospital in Little Rock.
Born Jan. 5, 1924, at Whitehouse, Ohio, he was the son of Emil and Katherine Rader. He was a retired chemist from Interlake Steel in Toledo, Ohio, a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II, a Master Mason at Wakeman Lodge in Waterville, Ohio, and attended Liberty Full Gospel Church in Cave City.
Survivors include his wife, Marian Butler Rader of the home; a son, Billy Rader of Cibilo, Texas; four daughters -- Judy Hartman of Haskins, Ohio, Penny Lesser of Stuart, Fla., Linda Rader of Naples, Florida, and Lisa Erwin of Batesville; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and two sisters.
The funeral was Feb. 26 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Richard Hawkins officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Batesville.
Pallbearers were Adam Simmons, Shawn Simmons, Danny Lesser, Benjamin Lesser and Joseph Lesser.
