Nettie N. Reynolds, 90, of Sandtown, died April 28, 2003, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born Jan. 23, 1913, at Batesville, she was the daughter of David and Catherine Danner Dunegan. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include four sons -- Boyd Reynolds and Jurle Reynolds, both of Sandtown, Gene Reynolds of Texarkana, Texas (Korea), and Henry J. Reynolds of Texarkana; three daughters -- Betty (Lorene) Poole of New Boston, Texas, Murle Thompson of Cave City, and Lottie Carolyn Reynolds of Sandtown; 28 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Reynolds; three sons -- William J. Reynolds, Steve Reynolds and Tex Reynolds; a daughter, Wanda Reynolds Smith; and three brothers -- Add Dunegan, Garner Dunegan and Sam Dunegan.
The funeral was May 1 at Poole's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church at Sandtown with J.W. Roach officiating. Burial was at Lee's Chapel Cemetery at Sandtown.
Pallbearers were John Reynolds, Louis W. Reynolds, Albert Aklin Jr., Tasker Huff, Larry Huff and Hank Williams.
Honorary pallbearers were John Downs, Buck Downs, Jerry Downs and Jessie Reynolds.
Arrangements were by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
