Nellie Kemp Vickery, 71, of Cherokee Village, formerly of Lepanto, died Feb. 14, 2003, at her home.
Born Feb. 19, 1931, at Oil Trough, she was a former member of Etowah Pentecostal Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde Vickery; three daughters -- Sharon Herman of Lepanto, Deborah Simons of West Ridge, and Susan Morris of Cherokee Village; three sons -- Danny Kemp of Cherry Valley, Dennis Kemp of Oxford, and David Vickery of Cherokee Village; a sister, Linda Bezzard of Caraway; three brothers -- L.C. Pilgrim of Lepanto, Howard Pilgrim of Birmingham, Ala., and Roland "Bob" Pilgrim of Lepanto.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Buster Kemp, and a brother, J.D. Pilgrim.
The funeral was Feb. 18 at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel in Lepanto with G.W. Allison officiating. Burial was in Potter Cemetery.
