Ozella Mobley, 92, of Cave City, died July 6 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born Oct. 1, 1912, at Poughkeepsie to Jim II and Rittia M. Vance Jarrett. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons -- Jim H. Mobley of Columbus, Ga., and Dale Mobley of Cave City; one sister, Ruth Bettis of Batesville; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Garland R. Mobley; one daughter, Helen Diann Mobley Wooldridge; four brothers -- William Jarrett, Austin Jarrett, Arthur Jarrett and Odis Jarrett; five sisters -- Marie Jarrett, Maurine Herndon, Ola McLeod, Devonia Cox and Clarice Russell.
The funeral service was July 9 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Troy Henley officiating. Burial was in the Maxville Cemetery, located north of Cave City, with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Brian Mobley, Glen Mobley, Garland Mobley Jr., Chad Woodridge, Max Hunter and Scott Meeks.
Honorary pallbearers were Austin Hunter, Laddie Hunter, Derek Johnson, Brock Johnson, Greg Johnson, Edwin Mobley, Evan Mobley, Corbin Mobley, Dylan Carson, Paden Day, Carson Day and Rustin Wooldridge.
