Paula Ann Martin of Ash Flat, daughter of Waymon and Betty Ann (Hampton) Hertzler, was born on Sept. 16, 1968, in Kirkwood, Mo.

She died Nov. 5, 2006, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home at the age of 38.

She was united in marriage to Robby Ray Martin on May 16, 1992, at Mammoth Spring, and to this union two sons were born. She worked as an assistant vice president/loan review officer for First National Banking Company. She was a member of Myron Baptist Church and a member of the Circle of Friends.

Survivors include her husband, Robby Martin of Ash Flat; two sons, Chase Allen Martin of Ash Flat and Brody Lane Martin of Ash Flat; her parents, Waymon and Betty Hertzler of Highland; fathers and mothers-in-law, Ray and Susie Martin of Glencoe and Ronnie and Glenna Atkins of Springfield, Mo.; grandmothers, Hazel Hertzler of Ash Flat and Anna Mae Hampton of Koshkonong, Mo; a brother, Bradley Hertzler of Highland; brother-in-law, Brian Martin and wife Alicia of Battlefield, Mo.; sister-in-law, Charity Brashears and husband Sean of Springfield, Mo.; uncles and aunts, Guy and Betty O'Dell of West Plains, Mo., Larry and Sharron Hampton of West Plains, Emmett and Wilma Griffith of Cherokee Village and David and JoAnn Albright of Camp, Ark.; nephews, Zachary and Bryce Martin of Battlefield, and Austin and Justin Brashears of Springfield; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, James Hampton and Julius Hertzler, and a brother-in-law, Brad Allen Martin.

The funeral services were held Nov. 9 at the Myron Baptist Church at Myron with Bro. Freeling Clower and Bro. Freddy Gay officiating. Interment was in the Humphries Cemetery in Glencoe with arrangements under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem.

Pallbearers were Billy Smart, Joe Young, Danny McGuire, Buddy Smith, Sean Brashear, Bobby Ball and Charles Cooper.

Honorary pallbearers were Scott Lambert, Larry Hampton, Guy O'Dell, Emmett Griffith, Clint Wiles, Joey Hall and Joe Garrison.
