Robert Virgil Pease, 68, of Cherokee Village died June 2, 2002, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born July 27, 1933, he was the son of Geneva Browning Pease and Truman Pease of Alton, Mo.
He was a millwright supervisor.
Survivors are his wife, Vera Dean Pease; a son and daughter-in-law -- James Robert and Brenda Brittion Pease of Centralia, Ill; a daughter, Gloria Elizabeth Laza of League City, Texas; two brothers-in-law -- Jim Bowers of Centralia, Ill., and John Bowers of Karbers Ridge, Ill.; six sisters -- Melba Bolin of Norris City, Ill., Mavis Duckworth of Benton, Ill., Alice May of Cherokee Village, Jean Langham of Washington, Ind., Susie Forbes and Eddie Dial, both of St. Elmo, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral was June 4 at Heath Oak Hill Chapel. Burial followed at Union Ridge Cemetery in New Haven, Ill.
