Paul Junior Lassiter, 71, of Cave City died Jan. 18, 2005, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born Sept. 6, 1933, at Cave City, he was the son of Ervin Mac and Alma Ethel Montgomery Lassiter. He was a farmer, retired from Banquet Foods in Batesville and a member of Eutopia Baptist Church at Cave City.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Glenna Bell Lassiter of the home; his mother, Alma Lassiter of Cave City; a son, Michael Paul Lassiter of Cave City; a brother, Calvin Ray Lassiter of Cave City; a sister, Barbara Penn of Cave City; two granddaughters -- Mandy Roach of Batesville, and Ashley Lassiter of Cave City; a great-granddaughter, Cheyanne King of Batesville; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was Jan. 21 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Jeff Holland officiating. Burial followed in Palestine Cemetery located west of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Gilbert McCracken, Bill Gallagher, Dean Hastings, Jeral Hastings, Donald Hastings, Greg Penn, Austin Christopher and David Stuntz.
