Patsy Ruth Kay Hoke Bradford, 63, of Evening Shade died Oct. 24, 2002, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born Dec. 24, 1938, at Lunsford, she was the daughter of Clifford and Hazel Menson Hoke. She was retired from International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District Lodge 93 in San Jose, Calif., a 15 year member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 8042 in Evening Shade and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Donald R. Bradford; a son, Darien Bradford of Evening Shade; two brothers -- Larry Coleman of Evening Shade, and Kenny Hoke of Ash Flat; a grandson, Kyle Lee Bradford of Batesville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Billy Wayne Hoke; and two sisters -- Paulette Smith and Durella Blankenship.
The funeral was Oct. 29 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Dane Blankenship and Alvin Wiles officiating. Burial followed in Mount Carmel Cemetery at Sidney.
Pallbearers were Red Las-siter, Gordon Harrison, Darrell Moody, Kevin Hoke, J.D. Yates and Patrick Hoke. Honorary pallbearer was Paschal Spurlock
