Pearl (Robins) Milligan, age 98, of Strawberry, Ark., died May 9, 2007, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born Sept. 2, 1908, at Jesup, Ark., the daughter of the late John Louis and Elvira (Turnbow) Robins.
She was a retired merchandise buyer in Phoenix, Ariz., a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the Harrison Street Church of Christ in Batesville. She is survived by: one brother, James Lowell Robins of Batesville; five nephews, Charles Taylor Robins of Lubbock, Texas, Charles Bernard Robins and Joe Keith Robins both of Strawberry, Ark., Byron Louis Robins of Greers Ferry and James David Robins of Prairie Grove; four nieces, Mollie Faye Guthrie of Lebanon, Ill., Ferna Marsh of Boulder City, Nev., Barbara Billions of Germantown, Tenn., and Martha Jo Ruiz of Batesville; several great-nieces; great-nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband William Everette Milligan; four brothers, Charles Taylor Robins, John Edward Robins, Benjamin Clyde Robins and an infant brother Leland Robins; three sisters, Mae Sullivan, Maude Howard and an infant sister Lois Robins; and one nephew, Bobby Lowell Robins. Funeral services were held May 12 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Dean Fugett officiating. Burial followed in the Lancaster Cemetery located near Strawberry with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Pallbearers were James Watson and her nephews; Joe Keith Robins, Byron Louis Robins, Jereald F. Billions, James David Robins and Joseph R. Ruiz.
