Ray Arnold Dykesn

Ray Arnold Dykes, 57, of Cherokee Village died Aug. 3, 2006, at his home. Ray was a spray booth operator with VanLeer Container.

Survivors include his wife Pamela Louise Dykes of Cherokee Village; two sons, Kenneth Ray Dykes and wife Paula Jean of Cherokee Village and Keith Ray Dykes of Thayer; a daughter, Melinda Marie Bratlein and husband, John Leonard; five brothers, Frank, Billy and Martin Dykes from Kentucky and Cleve and Sam from Illinois; four sisters Maxine Fagues and Jewel Pence from Kentucky, Dorothy Hayes from Illinois and Bobbie Peach from Alabama; and 12 grandchildren.

The funeral service was held Aug. 6 at the Heath Oak Hill Chapel. Cptain Ken Oakes officiated. Interment followed in Bronaugh Cemetery, with arrangements under the direction of Heath Oak Hill Chapel of Hardy.
