Ruby A. Isom

Ruby Adell Isom, 83, of Licking, Mo., formerly of Viola, died June 25, 2004, in Texas County Hospital in Licking.

Born Aug. 13, 1920, in Viola, she was the daughter of Claud and Nellie Rand Isom. She was a homemaker and a member of Rambo Assembly of God Church in Licking.

Survivors include her children -- Albert J. Sharp of Elizabeth, Jerry L. Sharp of Brockwell, Carl W. Sharp of Licking, and Bonnie F. Sandefur of Jonesboro; a brother, Virgil Eugene Isom of Cherokee Village; two sisters -- Ruth O. Foster of Viola, and Maxie Hatfield of Mountain Grove, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Margaret Pennington; two brothers -- Tommy and Jessie Isom; two sisters -- Wilma and Leoda; and her parents.

A graveside service was June 28 at Flora Cemetery near Viola with arrangements under the direction of the Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
