Joseph J. Repech, 76, of Horseshoe Bend died Sept. 12, 2001, at Baxter
Medical Center in Mountain Home.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and was retired from the
Milwaukee Police Department, having spent 25 years of service. He was a
charter member and third and fourth degree of the Knights of Columbus,
an EMT volunteer for Horseshoe Bend and a member of St. Mary of the
Mount Catholic Church.
Survivors inlcude his wife, Evelyn; five sons and four
daughters-in-law? John and Janis Repech of Milwaukee, Stephen and
Valerie Repech of Danville, Calif., William and Cindy Repech of Oak
Creek, Wisc., Robert and Sue Repech of Delavan, Wisc., and James Repech
of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters and sons-in-law ? Susan and Fred
Petri of North Prairie, Wisc., and Barbara and John Groth of East Troy,
Mich.; a sister, Dorothy Fokler of Oak Creek, Wisc.; two brothers ?
Arthur Repech of Cudahy, Wisc., and Anthony Repech of Greendale, Wisc.;
17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three sisters.
A memorial mass was Sept. 17 at St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church
with the Rev. Fred Schneider officiating.
Burial will be in the church columbarium at Horseshoe Bend.
