Richard E. Reiley, 68, of Hardy died Dec. 26, 2005, at White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born Oct. 23, 1937, in Summitville, Ind., the son of Vincent Reiley and Inez Morris Reiley.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was retired from General Motors.
Survivors include two sons, Vincent L. Reiley of South Dakota and Venon L. Reiley of Hardy; two daughters, Cristina Donahoe and husband, R.C., and Sherry Lynn Carter and Gary of Hardy; one brother, Lum Reiley of North Carolina; one sister, Jacklynn "Peachie" Lilly and husband, Joe, of Indiana; and 10 grandchildren,, Jarrid, Michael, Shy-Ann, Kara, Slade, Shelbi, River, Denver, Dakota and Denton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Richard Reiley Jr.; one brother, Leo Reiley; one sister, Geraldine Payne; and one nephew, Donnie Reiley.
A memorial service was held Dec. 28 at Highland Assembly of God with pastor Nathan Hubbard officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
The family requests memorials be made to the Highland Assembly of God Youth Center Building Fund.
