Retha (Fulbright) Street, 91, of Calamine, Ark., died Sept. 20, 2007, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born Jan. 9, 1916, in Izard County, Ark., the son of Thomas F. and Margaret (Moser) Fulbright.
She was a retired teacher, a homemaker and a member of the Poughkeepsie Church of Christ.Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Evonne Baxter of Calamine; one sep-son, James F. Street of Batesville; two step-daughters, Margie Peterson of Cave City and Betty Kimmer of Little Rock; one grandson, Zack Baxter and wife Shauna; one granddaughter, Keeli Gay and husband Dennis all of Calamine; 11 step-grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by: her parents; two husbands, Floyd Baxter and Eagle Street; a step-son, Eugene Street; one infant son; one infant daughter; three brothers, Homer Fulbright, Floyd Fulbright and Elmer Fulbright; two sisters, Virgie McConnell and Myrtle Turner; and one step-granddaughter, Rebecca Beller.Funeral services were held Sept. 23 at the Poughkeepsie Church of Christ with Troy Henley and Bro. Dennis Gay officiating. Burial followed in the Lebanon Cemetery located north of Nelsonville with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Pallbearers were Dennis Gay, Zack Baxter, Bruce Street, Bill Brown, Morris Street, Mike Higginbottom and Lane Gay.Honorary pallbearers were James Mack Street, Steven Street, Scott Street, Sam Beller, David Kimmer and John Peterson.
