Roy William Gann, 75, of Williford died Feb. 26, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born Jan. 31, 1929, in Sitka, he was the son of Williams and Carrie Logan Gann.
He worked in a timber mill before working for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier.
Survivors include his wife, Viola Gann of Williford; a son, Mark Gann of Bentonvillle; a daughter, Marline Rutledge of Williford; two brothers -- Donald Gann of St. Charles, Mo., and Thomas Howard Gann of Jonesboro; two sisters -- Wanda Aldridge of O'Fallon, Mo., and Dorothy Davis of Chicago; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
The funeral was Feb. 29 at Heath Oak Hill Chapel in Hardy with John Bussard and Tom O'Neal officiating. Burial was in Buchanan Cemetery at Poughkeepsie.
Pallbearers were Clinton Madison, Rob Madison, Rodney Despain, Calvin Pickett, Bryan Bettis and Nelson Murphy.
Arrangements were under the direction of Heath Funeral Home Oak Hill Chapel at Hardy.
