Rosco Harlin Mullins, 81, of Ash Flat died Nov. 26, 2002, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born June 29, 1921, in Ash Flat, he was the son of Roscoe Mullins and Emma Roberts Mullins. He married Velma Dillard Sept. 15, 1949, in Ash Flat. He worked many years in the farming industry before retiring.
Survivors include his wife; a son and daughter-in-law -- Terry and Anne Mullins of Franklin; three sisters and two brothers-in-law -- Evelyn Mullins Mitchell of Irving, Texas, Violet Lee Mullins Sanders and her husband, Marvis, of Huntsville, Ala., and Emma Lou Mullins Neal and her husband, Travis, of Little Rock; and a grandson, Derek Mullins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Velma Hines; and four brothers -- Cecil Mullins, David Mullins, Troy Mullins and Arthur Mullins.
The funeral was Nov. 29 at Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel in Highland. Burial followed in Ash Flat Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dale Ward, Bruce Dow, Mark Dow, Jake Johnson, Gilbert Fowler, and Mike Nix. Drexel Williams served as honorary pallbearer.
Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
