Ray Holland, 62, of Batesville died Oct. 30, 2004, at his home.
Born July 14, 1942, at Ravenden, he was the son of Marvin Samuel and Myrtal Mae James Holland.
He was a maintenance worker for Conagra Frozen Foods in Batesville for 31 years and was a member of North Heights Church of Christ in Batesville.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Holland of the home; two daughters -- Melanie Williams of Cushman, and Michelle Polston of Cave City; two step-daughters -- Cindy Bunch Holcomb of Batesville, and Jeannie Wrightson of Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, J.C. Holland of Jacksonville; two sisters -- Joyce Bailey of Evening Shade, and Hazel Bearden of Batesville; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral was Nov. 3 at North Heights Church of Christ in Batesville with Ralph Wallis officiating.
Burial followed in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Batesville with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Pallbearers were John Manning, Floyd Tackett, Daryl Henderson, Larry Branscum, Bobby Goodman and Jerry Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were Henry Williams, Robbie Polston, Dwight Ford, Robert Martin and David Holcomb.
