Robert Henry Rodgers, 86, of Hardy died Dec. 30, 2003, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born May 15, 1917, at Newport, he was the son of Eula Bell Dark Rodgers and Inward W. Rodgers.
During his working years he was employed as a manager in retail groceries. He was a member of Spring River Baptist Church and served in the Army Air Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Rodgers, of Hardy; two daughters -- Peggy Flynn of Moundridge, Kan., and Glenna Giles of Hardy; a twin brother, L.B. Rodgers, of Batesville; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters -- Kathryn Hall and Mattie Johnson.
The funeral was Jan 2 at Heath Oak Hill Chapel in Hardy with burial in Bronaugh Cemetery at Hardy.
Arrangements were under the direction of Heath Oak Hill Chapel of Hardy.
