Hubert Harvey Richardson, 77, of Hardy died Dec. 10, 2001, at his home.
Born Aug. 27, 1924, in Doxey City, Okla., he was the son of the Frank Harvey and Maude Elizabeth Poore Richardson. He was a self-employed farmer, cattleman and lumberjack. He was a member of Spring River Baptist Church in Hardy.
Survivors include three sisters -- Dorothy Elizabeth Richardson of Selma, Calif., Gladys Ann Hoffman of Brazoria, Texas, and Minnie Marie Brooks of Bono; three brothers -- Frank Isaac and John Kenneth Richardson, both of Selma, and Walter Raymond Richardson of Boling, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Emma May Richardson; and three brothers -- Charlie James Richardson, Earl Harold Richardson and Hardy Authur Richardson.
A graveside service was Dec. 13 with Floyd Rikard officiating.
Pallbearers were his nephews and grandnephews -- Garnet Brooks, Kenneth Brooks, Larry Brooks, Jerry Brooks, Brent Brooks and Brandon Brooks.
Arrangements were under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service Inc of Hardy.
