Raymond J. King, 73, of Cave City died Nov. 30, 2005, at a Little Rock hospital. He was born March 27, 1932, at Cave City to Russell D. and Ester Leona West King. He had worked for Boeing Corporation in Wichita, Kan., and the Sharp County Road Department and was a member of Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church at Nelsonville.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice Brown King of the home; two sons, Dale King of Cave City and Dean King of Newark; one daughter, Gail McCrackin of Smithville; one brother, Coy King of Means, Ky.; two sisters, Laura Gay of Mineola, Texas, and Gracie McCrackin of Strawberry; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ray "Gene" King; two brothers, Earl King and Claude King; and one sister, Ruby Goff.
The funeral service was held Dec. 2 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Grayden Milligan officiating.
Burial followed in Mountain View Cemetery east of Cave City with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were John Brown, Buster Brown, Bill Brown, John Carter, Larry Brown, Ephraim May and Bill Sigmann.
Honorary pallbearers were Frank Arnold, Clifton Cooper and Bill Norris.
