Robert Gilbert McCracken, 15, of Cave City died July 25, 2003, in Clarksville.
Born Nov. 12, 1987, at Calico Rock, he was a precious son of Dale and Cindy McCracken and Mitchell White. He was a 10th grade student at Mount Pleasant High School, a member of the senior boys basketball team, a member of FFA, a member of Mount Pleasant Southern Baptist Church and a member of Fools 4 Christ Drama Team.
Survivors include his mother and father, Dale and Cindy McCracken of Cave City; two brothers -- Jamie McCracken of Mammoth Spring, and Jimmy McCracken of Cave City; a sister, Whitney McCracken of Cave City; a stepbrother, Kenneth White of Mountain View; grandparents -- Gilbert and Carolyn McCracken of Cave City, and Betty Potenza of Mount Pleasant; two aunts and three uncles -- Regina and Randy Smith of Cave City, Lisa and James Bray of Mount Pleasant, and Michael White of Mountain View; and four cousins -- Ashley and Logan Smith of Cave City, and Amelia and Lane Bray of Mount Pleasant.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mitchell Gene White; three grandparents -- J.W. White, Bonnie Green and Eugene Potenza; great-grandmother, Mabel Markley; and two cousins -- Sidney and Colten Bray.
The funeral was July 28 at Mount Pleasant High School gymnasium with Bruce Qualls officiating. Burial followed in Barren Fork Cemetery at Mount Pleasant with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Kelly Don Webb, Nick Howard, Corey Simpson, James Liles, Blake Johnson, Jared Webb and Corey McCullough.
Honorary pallbearers were the Mount Pleasant graduating class of 2006.
