Roland "Bud" Bernard Miller, 75, of Cherokee Village died June 6, 2002, at Eastern Ozarks Regional Health System in Cherokee Village.
Born Oct. 9, 1926, in Antigo, Wis., he was the son of Bernard Miller and Mildred McKinnon Miller. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Navy. He retired as a supervisor for Schlitz Brewery. While living in Wisconsin, he was an official/referee for WISAA and a charter member of the H-Mount Rover Boys.
The Millers moved to Cherokee Village 14 years ago from Memphis. While living in Cherokee Village he was a member of the Elks Lodge 2539, Cherokee Village Men's Golf Association and St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Miller; two sons and daughters-in-law -- Gary and Jennifer Miller of Pewaukee, Wis., and Kenneth and Jude Miller of Muskego, Wis.; a daughter, Sharon Klein (Adam) of Waukesha, Wis.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial mass was June 10 at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Kevin Atunzu officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cher-okee Chapel of Highland.
