Roger Odell Snow, age 54, of Newport died Feb. 10, 2007, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born March 23, 1952, at Batesville, Ark., the son of Calvin C. and Vernia Mae (Felts) Snow. He was a past owner and administrator of Newport Health Care Nursing Home and a member of First Presbyterian Church at Newport.
Survivors include: his wife, Margaret Ann (Gillihan) Snow of the home; one son Roger Odell Snow Jr., and one daughter, Elizabeth Snow both of the home; his parents, Calvin and Vernia Snow of Cave City; two brothers, Billy Snow and Leo Snow both of Cave City; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Feb. 13 at the First Assembly of God Church in Cave City with Rev Alan Ford and Rev. Allen Brown officiating. Burial followed in the Maxville Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Finis Horton, Kendell Weaver, Mike Price, Robin Smith, Travis Snow and Max hunter.
Honorary pallbearers were Bill Pratt, John A. Walton Jr. and Butch Crafton.
