Rebecca Taylor, 54, of Ash Flat died Feb. 9, 2003, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born Sept. 19, 1948, at St. Rita's Hospital in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of Wilbur Judy and Catherine Sheffield Judy. She married Michael E. Taylor Sr. Nov. 27, 1970, in Newport, R.I. She was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked as a receptionist for over 20 years before retiring. She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her husband, Michael E. Taylor Sr. of the home; a son and his wife -- Michael E. Taylor Jr. and Holly Taylor of Cherokee Village; a daughter and her friend -- Michelle Taylor Koch and John Shales of Lafayette, Ind.; a brother, Michael Judy of Bucyrus, Ohio; six sisters -- Cynthia Dawson of Marion, Ohio, Sandra Roy of Summersworth, N.H., Lillian Everly of Miamisburg, Ohio, Kathleen Kissell of Mason, Ohio, Paula Bill of Delaware, Ohio, and Jennifer Allen of Marion, Ohio; two grandchildren -- Layne Thomas Koch and Linsey Brooke Taylor; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Carol; and an infant brother.
The funeral was Feb. 12 at Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel with Deacon Jim Thompson officiating. Burial followed at Baker Cemetery near Ozark Acres.
Pallbearers were Rhonda Taylor, Chris Tucker, Dennis Burton, John Shales, Paula Bill and Michael Judy.
Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel at Highland.
