Pringle was born March 27, 1922, in Scranton, Pa., the son of Robert E. Pringle and Mary (Newton) Pringle.
He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the infantry during World War II. He served during the Rome Campaign under General George Patton.
He served as a high priest for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Mormon Tabernacle.
He was a member of the Sportsman's Club and the VFW, a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, and a member of the Arizona Sheriffs Association.
Survivors include his wife, Ela Pringle of the home; four sons, Bruce, Brent and Robert "Bobby" Pringle, all of Iowa, and Bryan Pringle of Arizona; three daughters, Dianne, Gail and Sandra Pringle, all of Pennsylvania; one sister, Betty Urquhart of Arizona; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
