Stephen Anthony Jerzylo, age 53, of Sidney, Ark., formerly of Boston, Mass., died March 2, 2007, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville.
He was born April 1, 1953, at Boston, Mass.; the son of Anthony Bronslaw and Francis (Galliff) Jerzylo.
He was a retired Boston fire fighter, a U.S. Navy veteran having served in the Vietnam War and was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include: his wife Karen Jerzylo of the home; two sons, Frank Jerzylo and Alex Jerzylo both of Hyde Park, Mass.; one daughter, Diana Jerzylo of Hyde Park; three sisters, Vickie Pigott of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Laurie Jerzylo of North Weymouth, Mass., and Stacy Bobibilier of Canton, Mass.; one grandson, Roger Spring Jr. of Hyde Park; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Chester Jerzylo and Anthony Jerzylo.
Memorial services were held March 8 at the United Methodist Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Sidney with Rev. Alan Meinzer officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Funeral services were also held March 12 at the St. Adalbert's Roman Catholic Church in Boston, Mass., with Monsignor Sypeck officiating. Interment followed in the Massachusetts National Cemetery located at Bourne, Mass., with arrangements under the direction of Kenney Funeral Home of Hyde Park, Mass.
