Seguard Arthur Hall, 79, of Batesville died Dec. 26, 2002, at Cave City Nursing Home.
Born March 30, 1923, in Laredo, he was the son of Jesse James and Thelma Ethel James Hall. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and worked for the Farmer's Market in Batesville. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include two daughters -- Glenda Oakley of Anderson, Ind., and Peggy Sneed of Strawberry; a brother, Gordon Hall of Veradal, Wash.; a sister, Hazel Hall Johnson of Walnut Ridge; four grandchildren -- Denise Hodson and Dennis Sneed, both of Strawberry, Bradley Sneed of Searcy and Danita Crawford of Batesville; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers -- Eugene Hall, J.C. Hall and an infant brother; and a granddaughter, Sylvia Faye Sneed.
A graveside service was Dec. 28 at Ward Cemetery at Strawberry with David Johnson officiating.
Pallbearers were Denise Hodson, Dennis Sneed, Bradley Sneed, Danita Crawford, Carrol Lake and Dustin Lake.
Honorary pallbearers were Shayna Bower, Kara Callahan, Payton Callahan, Nicholas Jackson, Chelsea Sneed, Kelsea Sneed, Kenton Crawford and Kassy Crawford.
Arrangements were by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
