Shane Michael Stauffer, age 20, of Cave City died Jan. 14, 2007.
He was the son of Steve and Paula Stauffer and brother of Whitney Stauffer, all of Cave City. He is the grandson of Bobby and Patsy Barr of Cave City and Murray and Barbara Stauffer of Adding, Penn., and Joan Stauffer of North Carolina. He was a young man with great ambition and a tender heart. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was rarely without a hunting expedition to tell about.
Stauffer attended UCA in Conway where he was studying to become an English teacher. He planned to return to Cave City to teach and live near his family and friends.
The funeral services were held Jan. 19 at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard and Bro. Nathan Rogers officiating. Burial followed in the Mount View Cemetery east of Cave City with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Brandon Qualls, Dustin Smith, Bobby Finster, Abe Fryman and Brian Johnstan.
Honorary pallbearers were Justin Barr, Derek Marlin, Colten Marlin, Scott Sterling, Hunter Caraway, Colby Felts, Dustin Johnson and Bo Qualls.
