Ernest W. Sunderlin, 88, of Horseshoe Bend, died Dec. 6, 2001, at North Arkansas Life Care Center in Horseshoe Bend.
He was past master, past high priest Royal Arch of the Masons in Wisconsin, past patron Order of the Eastern Star, past president of Arkansas Flying Farmers and vice chairman of the Horseshoe Bend Airport Commission.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; a son, William (Judy) of Fargo, N.D.; three daughters -- Beatrice Klemm (Gene) of Medford, Wisc., Nancy Baar of Descanso, Calif., and Phyllis Rauch of Hayesville. N.C.; a daughter-in-law and husband, Bernadette and Bill Marschke of Rib Lake; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert; a granddaughter, Melanie, and a great-grandson, Andy.
A memorial service was Dec. 11 at United Methodist Church in Horseshoe Bend with the Rev. Everett Isom officiating. Burial was in Rib Lake, Wisc.
Arrangements were under the direction of Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel of Horseshoe Bend.
