Shirley Yvonne Milligan Wigginton, age 69, of Grange, Ark., died Feb. 16, 2007, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born Dec. 25, 1937, at Belmont, Ark., to Finis Ewin and Martha Lottie (Moore) Milligan.
She was united in marriage to John. D. Wigginton on Dec. 6, 1957, in Albion, Mich. She was a homemaker, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Grange, Calamine Fire Department, the Ladies Thursday Morning Bowling League at the Hollywood Bowl in Batesville and a member of the Milligan Campground Presbyterian Church near Strawberry. She attended the Corinth Baptist Church in Grange where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; paternal grandparents, Harm Lee and Margaret Milligan; maternal grandparents, Wes and Alta Moore and one brother, Terry Milligan.
Survivors include: her husband, John D. Wigginton of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Debbie Milligan of Grange, Lee and Zana Milligan of Grange; one brother, Steve Milligan of Cave City; six grandchildren, Ashley and husband Jacob Landers of Little Rock, David Wigginton Jr. of Fayetteville, Austin Wigginton, Aaron Wigginton, Amber Wigginton and Joshua Wigginton all of Grange; several nieces; and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Feb. 19 at the Milligan Campground Presbyterian Church near Strawberry with Bro. Dennis Gay and Bro. Alan Meinzer officiating. Burial followed in the Milligan Campground Cemetery near Strawberry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
