Reba Qualls Taylor, 90, of Evening Shade died Nov. 30, 2001, at Sharp Nursing Home in Sidney.
Born May 29, 1911, at Evening Shade, she was the daughter of John Henry and Sallie Bell Haley Qualls. She was a member of Bear Creek Methodist Church at Evening Shade.
Survivors include three sons -- Garland Taylor of Searcy, Johnny Taylor and Clifton Taylor, both of Evening Shade; a daughter, Pat Bettis of Batesville; a brother, Cletus Qualls of Tulsa, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elbert Taylor; a son; two brothers; a sister; and a grandson.
The funeral was Dec. 2 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel at Cave City with Alvin Wiles officiating. Burial followed at Bear Creek Cemetery in Evening Shade.
Pallbearers were J.C. Qualls, Mike Sharp, David Sharp, Ronnie Perkey, Bill Williams and Mark Sisson.
Arrangements were by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
