Thedford M. Higginbotham, age 92, of Cave City died July 25, 2006, at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

He was born July 27, 1913, in Alabama.

He was a United States veteran and a member of the Cave City Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Mabel Higginbotham of Cave City; one daughter, Brenda Wendler of Austin, Texas; one brother, John Higginbotham of Elizabeth; one grandson Cody Long of Austin, Texas; one great-grandson, Noah Long of Austin; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mae Higginbotham; two brothers and three sisters.

The funeral services were held July 29 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Dean Fugett officiating. Burial followed in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Homes of Cave City.

Pallbearers were Clyde Cossey, Les Kleider, Ray England, James Waston, Robert Watson and Philip Fugett.

Honorary pallbearers were Pete Ring and Eric Fugett.
