Thomas Ray Corp Jr. (Bub), 30, Hardy died Feb. 26, 2006, in Myrtle, Mo.
He was born June 30, 1975, in Pocahontas, Ark. He was a lover of life and and had a smile for everyone. Corp's greatest love was his family.
Corp was a tree trimmer for Davis Tree Service. He lived in the Hardy area with his brother, Timmy. He graduated from Highland High School in 1994, then attended Tulsa Welding School in Tulsa, Okla., becoming a certified welder.
He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, singing and barbecues, riding horses and going to rodeos.
He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and was baptized in the Christian faith on Feb. 15, 2004.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Erma and Dennis Jernigan of Tulsa; his father, Thomas Corp Sr. of Thayer; one brother, Timmy Corp of Hardy; one sister, Teresa Corp of Hardy; one nephew, Zane Guthrie of Hardy; maternal grandparents, Less and Violet Honeycutt of Ash Flat; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Mabel Corp.
The funeral services were held March 2 at Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel in Highland with Bro. O.C. Wright officiating. Burial followed in the Flint Cemetery near Wirth.
Pallbearers were Brian Honeycutt, Terry Honeycutt, Roy Corp Jr., Bobby Tharp, Dan Melbourne, Ron Watson and Beau Adams.
Honorary pallbearers were Danny Green, Gary McClintock and Tom Taylor.
Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
