Thelma N. Swetnam, 85, of Hardy died July 25, 2003, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
Born Oct. 14, 1917, in Hardy, she was the daughter of Dan Rogers and Bertha A. Davis Rogers. She was married to C. Floyd Swetnam in 1936 in Hardy. She was a homemaker and a member of the Community of Christ Church in Hardy.
Survivors include two sons and their wives -- Gordon and Pat Swetnam of St. Charles, Mo., and Kenny and Janet Swetnam of Hardy; a daughter and her husband, Sharon and Chris Madsen of Lincoln, Neb.; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, C. Floyd Swetnam; a son, Roger Swetnam; a daughter, Lacreshia Peyton; and two great-grandsons -- Joshua Null and Brandon Booth.
The funeral was July 28 at Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel with Johnny Sawyer and Art Greyhouse officiating. Burial followed in Baker Cemetery near Ozark Acres.
Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
