Vera A. Tycoliz, 73, of Cherokee Village died Nov. 28, 2003, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
Born July 2, 1980, in New York City, she was the daughter of John and Mary Miller Pyzow.
She married William Tycoliz April 26, 1948, at First Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, Md. A loving wife and mother, she was an excellent cook. She was a creative person who enjoyed reading, gardening, ceramics and animals. She and William moved to Cherokee Village from Port St. Lucie, Fla,. in December 1999.
Survivors include her husband, William, of the home; two daughters -- Mary Ann Dakin of Memphis, Tenn., and Deborha T. Campbell and husband, Murdoch, of Waterford, Mich.; a son, William Tycoliz Jr. and wife, Alison, of Key West, Fla.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters -- Irene Tocci and Rosie Jamison; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and a sister.
She was of the Russian Orthodox faith and the family thanks Father Stan Swiderski of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church for his spiritual assistance.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation. The family was assisted by Roller Funeral Home of Mountain Home.
