Virgie Mae Gill, 73, of Glencoe died April 18, 2003, at Ash Flat Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born June 12, 1929, in Peace Valley, she was the daughter of Marion and Eliza Martin Gilbreath.
She married Millard Gill April 20, 1945, at Ash Flat, and to this union five children were born. She was a homemaker and a member of the Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law -- Clettis D. and Margaret Ann Gill of Pasco, Wash., and Lannie and Florence Gill of Grand Junction, Colo; three daughters and sons-in-law -- Gynon Gay and David Stone of Mountain Home, Patricia Ann and Robert Bongers of Benton City, Wash., and Christine and Roger Fox of Palmer, Alaska; three brothers -- Ray Gilbreath and Virgil Gilbreath, both of Ash Flat, and Gerald Gilbreath of Salem; four sisters -- Margie Gill and Claudine Coggins, both of Ash Flat, Icapheen Martin of Salem, and Helen Benton of Glencoe; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two grandchildren -- Jessica Gill and Robert Gill; three brothers -- Floyd, Russell and Burtis Gilbreath; and her parents.
The funeral was April 22 at Cox-Blevins Chapel with Bill Barnett officiating. Burial was in Wiles Cemetery in Ash Flat.
Arrangements were under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home.
