Born Oct. 19, 1936, in Wilson, Ark., she was the daughter of Charles Marion Stafford and Ollie Jane Randolph Stafford. She was a member of the American Legion and was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons -- Ronald Brawley of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Michael Brawley of Indiana, and Russell Brawley of Wirth; a daughter, Kathy Sanchez of Ozark Acres; two brothers -- Everett Stafford of Tupelo, Miss., and Ellis Stafford of Sheffield, Ala.; a sister, Nancy Smart of Sheffield; 25 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jyles Edward Brawley; and two sons -- Joseph Brawley and Jyles Brawley Jr.
The funeral was Feb. 12 at Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel with Larry Sellers officiating. Burial was in Providence Cemetery in Leighton, Ala.
Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
