Verda Bond Rich, 85, of Sidney, formerly of Warrensburg, Mo., died June 9, 2003, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born April 16, 1918, at Perkinston, Miss., she was the daughter of Alvin Theodore and Senath Ladner Bond. She was a retired co-owner of Terra Linda Mobile Park in Warrensburg, a member of the Promenaders Square Dance Group in Bolivar, Mo., and a member of Community of Christ Church in Independence, Mo.
Survivors include a son, Gary Brown of Warrensburg; three daughters -- Linda Rich Hall of Sidney, Terrie Baker of Warrensburg, and Margaret Koenig of Blue Springs, Mo.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was June 11 at Oaklawn Cemetery located in Batesville.
Honorary pallbearers were Brad Blankenship, Raybourn Finley, Fred Krug, Kenneth Stroud, Gene Helm and J.D. Hall.
Arrangements were by Qualls Funeral Service of Batesville.
