Vivian Vera Rogers, 89, of Mammoth Spring died Aug. 4, 2005, in Cave City.
She was born Oct. 18, 1915, in Mammoth Spring the daughter of the late David Franklin Burke ad Minnie Almeda Lunn Burke.
She was united in marriage June 29, 1938, in Mammoth Spring to Lewis Eugene Rogers, who preceded her in death March 1, 1988.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mammoth Spring and was a homemaker.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
Survivors include one son, Francis Eugene "Birdie" Rogers and wife Carol of Cave City; two grandchildren, Lisa Bishop and husband Brian of Searcy, Ark., and Beth Qualls and husband Mark of Searcy; four great-grandchildren -- Tyler and Tanner Jones of Searcy and Haley and Kelsey Qualls of Searcy; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two brothers -- Arthur and Frank Burke; and two sisters -- Mildred Whiteside and Melba Dillard.
The funeral service was held Aug. 6 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with the Rev. J.R. Wiles officiating.
Burial was in the Thayer Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
