William Enos Love, 91, died Dec. 1, 2004, at Salem.
Born Sept. 5, 1913, at Evening Shade, he was the son of the Rev. Andy Luther and Mittie Anne Rush Love. He married Mona Soward Dec. 5, 1937, at Ash Flat. He spent his working years as an assembler for Singer Sewing Machine in Armona, Calif., from which he retired. He loved to swap and trade knives. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Armona.
Survivors includes nieces and nephews -- Karen Plumlee, Konnie Troppmann, Yvonne Webber, Sandy Needham, Randy Love, Jana Barnes, Zane Richmond and Tommy Richmond.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mona, on May 18, 1984, in Armona; three brothers -- Eulos, Lindsey and Olen; and two sisters -- Evelyn Weathers and Othell Whited.
A graveside service was Dec. 3 at Mt. Calm Cemetery in Viola with the Rev. Mark Ashcroft officiating.
Interment was in the Mt. Calm Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem.
Memorials are preferred to the Mt. Calm Cemetery Association.
