Wardin Frank Allen Trombly IV, of Viola, Ark., son of Florence Alice Rauch Trombly and the late Wardin Frank Allen Trombly Sr., was born Dec. 28, 1938, in Banquette, Texas. He died Jan. 28, 2008, at Hospice House of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Ark., at the age of 69.
He was united in marriage to Rosemary Bryant on Dec. 8, 2003, at Salem, Ark. He was employed for many years by Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Mich., as an auto mechanic. He was also employed by an oil refinery in Detroit, Mich., as an oilfield operator. He was of the Assembly of God faith.Survivors include: his wife, Rosemary Trombly of the family home; his sons, Terry Allen Trombly of Aurora, Ill., and Fred Burton Trombly of Doniphan, Mo.; stepchildren, Mildred L. Woody, Chuck and Harry Carrier, Venus L. Domerese and Amy Marie Mattox; his mother, Florence Trombly of West Plains, Mo.; six grandchildren, Bryan Trombly, Angela Brown, Eric Trombly, Miranda Lee Trombly, Lee Little and Chad Farris; 14 step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Florence Alice Hartung of Cody, Wyo., F. Alice Morgan of Cherokee Village and Ivene Smith of West Plains, Mo.He was preceded in death by his father; four brothers; and two sistersFuneral services were held Jan. 31 at the Cox-Blevins Chapel with burial in Stateline Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem, Ark.
